In 2023,, Sonoma County’s farmers and bakers shared some of their produce and baked goods with the community. In 2024, there were many more food items distributed and also offered for sale. There were over 50 booths at the 2023 Earth Day Climate Fest and attendees described the activities as very inspiring, helping them to make changes to personal habits that reduce greenhouse gas emissions on a daily basis. This year, we anticipate that there will be over 70 educational, interactive booths. Instead of a parade this year, students and teachers created and demonstrated an aerocene balloon!

Attendees in 2023 described the Earth Protectors Parade as “fantastical and magical.”
