Date/Time of the Climate Fest: April 22, 2023 1-4 pm, Healdsburg Plaza
The Earth Day Climate Fest will be co-hosted by Climate Action Healdsburg and the City of Healdsburg; other partner organizations include the Healdsburg Community Parks Foundation, the Northern Sonoma County Air Pollution Control District, AV Film, the Healdsburg Chapter of the American Association of University Women, Sonoma County Climate Mobilization, the Regional Climate Protection Authority, and Noon Rotary’s Environmental Committee.
The aim of the Fest is to educate the public about the climate crisis and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions both individually and collectively, to reexamine how we interact with the natural world and with each other and to inspire individuals to make changes on a personal level. This is an opportunity to unite as a community and improve the quality of life in an equitable manner for all residents.
This event intersects with the development of a Climate Mobilization Strategy for the City of Healdsburg. It will help residents identify how Healdsburg can reach carbon neutrality by 2030. However, the event is not limited to residents of Healdsburg. We expect that many people from the surrounding area will participate with us.
